HCG Diet

HCG (human chorionic gonaditropin) has become a popular treatment for obesity and weight loss around the world. In combination with a very low calorie diet, HCG is believed to slightly raise the levels of certain hormones to safely speed up weight loss. This hormone boost will not only increase the body’s metabolism and promote weight loss, but it will also target stored fat and spare lean muscle mass.

HCG is believed to protect your body’s good fat and muscle from depleting. That means you could go on a low calorie food plan and lose weight and not experience typical problems such as muscle loss and sagging skin.

The HCG diet is especially successful for women entering menopause who complain of the 30 extra pounds that appeared out of nowhere over the past 5 years — without having increased their daily caloric intake! This phenomenon is often referred to as the “menopause 30-pound spread” caused by declining hormones due to the aging process. In our 20s and 30s, we typically enjoy balanced hormones — where our bodies are like a machine. After age 35, our hormone levels start to decline, taking our metabolism right with it. Thus, weight gain and fatigue become a normal part of life.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Aging is optional! You can stop the aging process and stay lean by balancing your hormones, exercising regularly, and eating healthy.

The HCG Diet and Hormone Replacement Therapy

Many people choose to do both the HCG diet and hormone replacement. Hormone replacement will not interfere with the HCG diet and, in many cases, has proven to enhance results.
